Site 3

Land Unit: HN, BP and RX. Alluvial deposits with steep slopes of rocky valley unit at the basalt plain edge. Moderately steep slopes to the east and south.

Topography: Gully located at the boundary of the Ordovician hills and the basalt plain.

Geology: Ordovician sediments, Recent alluvium and Quaternary basalt.

Soil: Yellow duplex profile with a topsoil of clay loam.

Native Vegetation: Red gum and yellow box.

Erosion: Severe erosion prior to reclamation measures.
