7222-570244. Five kilometres north-west of Tahara.

Access:

Wards Lane off Merino-Coleraine Road.

Geology/Geomorphology:

A rotational slide has occurred leaving prominent near-vertical slump ridges several metres from the headwall. The headwall exposes red and grey mottled clay overlain by approximately 0.5 metres of iron accumulation in the form of rounded concretions.


This slide contains unusual features and could be a useful reference site.
