1-4 Drained wetland between Pleistocene Dune Ridges - Dartmoor

Locality:

7122-200036. Five kilometres east of Dartmoor.

Access:

Princes Highway.

Geology/Geomorphology:

The corridor between the calcarenite (Bridgewater Formation) ridges of Ardno and Limestone (Mingbool) dunes contains a drained wetland.

Significance:

Regional.

Management:

Because of the area covered by the site, the value of the geomorphological features is unlikely to be diminished by localised land disturbance, e.g. limited quarrying.
