Soils of the Merri River and Drysdale Creek Area Near Warrnambool
The "Soils of the Merri River and Drysdale Creek Area Near Warrnambool, Victoria - No. 55" survey was carried out in 1974, by J. W. Newell of the former Department of Agriculture, Victoria. The survey consisted of 11,700 ha (45 sq. miles) bordering the Merri River and Drysdale Creek. The Merri Valley Irrigation and Conservation Association requested this survey, to provide background information for a submission to the Victorian Public Works Committee, concerning the construction of a water storage on one of the named streams.
