Habitat:

In its native range
T. fluminensis occurs in rainforests and other damp, humid and shaded places (GISD 2006). Outside its native range it may inhabit riparian environments, sclerophyll forests and woodland (dry and wet), warm and temperate rainforest, wetlands and other disturbed areas including roadsides, rubbish dumps, and neglected gardens (Carr et al. 1992: Blood 2001: McBarron 2001). Also occurs in forest remnants and forest margins (Standish 2001). Its distribution may be from coastal sites to inland districts (Harden 1993).
