Status:


Native to Australia (Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and New South Wales).


Plant Description:


Tussock forming perennial, 60-110 cm tall. Leaf blades, long, flat to inrolled and smooth to slightly rough. Flower-heads very narrow and erect, 20-35 cm long with very dense clusters of flowers. Nut, narrow-ovoid and three-sided, 5-6 mm long.


Habitat:


Grows in coastal saltmarshes and around saline swamps and salt lakes in Western Victoria.
