Plant Description:

Erect or decumbent annual with many-branched stems from 3-10 cm long. Leaves are narrow-lanceolate (spear-shaped), often red-brown, 3-8 mm long and 1-2 mm wide.


Flower-heads contain 5-many flowers 1.5-2 mm long and white to cream in colour. Fruit is a follicle containing 4-12 seeds.

Habitat:

Widespread throughout Victoria, growing in moist places, including moderately saline flats.

Crassula’s of moist and sometimes saline sites include, Austral Stonecrop (Crassula sieberiana) and Swamp Crassula (Crassula helmsii).
