Status: | Native to South Australia and Victoria and rare in Western Australia and Tasmania.

The leaves are rather thick, the under surface and leaf margins are covered by fine white star-like hairs and scattered rusty hairs while the upper surface is hairless and shining green. Younger stems and branches are also hairy and rust coloured. Flower-heads consist of several globular clusters of flowers on short stalks. Habitat: | Coastal dunes, cliffs, and estuary shorelines along most of the Victorian coastline.
Comments: | This species was once regarded as part of the coastal, Bassian Dogwood (Pomaderris oraria subsp. oraria) from which it is distinguished by its hairless upper leaf surface. |
