Geological heritage sites, including sites of geomorphological interest and volcanic heritage sites, are under regular revision by the Geological Society of Australia, especially in the assessment of significance and values. Reference should be made to the most recent reports. Ownership
Crown land

Site Description
Basalt escarpments and a narrow alluvial terrace occur in the creek valley.

Significance
The site is an example of the original valley form of the Kororoit Creek.

Management
Class 2. The outcrops on the escarpments should be left exposed.
