Ownership: | Private land. | |
Geology: | A coarse-grained basic dyke has been quarried and the material may be seen in the sides of the abandoned and partly water-filled pit. | |
Significance: | Regional. This is one of the best exposures of basic intrusions in the study area. | |
Management: | Class 2. Continued use as a small reservoir is compatible with maintaining the significance of the site. It should not be filled or used as a rubbish dump. | |
