Geomorphology: | Hummocky terrain crossed by Costers Road is material derived from slope failure at the weathered contact of the Older Volcanics basalts and the underlying Devonian sediments. A minor basalt escarpment indicates the headwall scarp of this old and inactive mass movement. | |
Significance: | Regional. Mass movements of this scale are unusual at the Palaeozoic - Older Volcanics boundary. | |
Management: | Class 3. Any change in land use will not alter the significant characteristics of the site. |
