Status:

Native to South Australia and Victoria.

Plant Description:

Widely spreading shrub to 2 m high with rough, flaking or corky bark. Leaves opposite and
linear-lanceolate, 8–15 mm long, 1–2 mm wide with an acute to sharply pointed apex. Flowers in lateral clusters along stem for 10 cm or more, pale to dark pink or lilac. Fruit capsules about 4 mm wide.

Habitat:

Grows on seasonally flooded and poorly drained soils.
