Key Profile Features:
- Lack of strong texture contrast between surface (A) horizons and subsoil (B) horizons.
- Conspicuously bleached subsurface (A2) horizons.
- Pit excavated to 2 metres depth - no impeding layers evident. This profile is paler in colour than is typical for the Silver Creek loam soil type. It better fits into the Boolarra loam soil type in terms of colour but Silver Creek loam as far as texture is concerned. No samples were taken for analysis.
