Abstract:	South Buchan exposure of Buchan Caves Limestone.
Access:	Via private road through Mr Butterworths property, South Buchan.
Ownership:	Private land.
Geology:	Buchan Caves Limestone is poorly exposed in the South Buchan Basin. This outcrop is partially silicified and is associated with a small limonite deposit. The limestone is predominantly coralline, containing Favosites and Syringopora colonies together with Acrospirifer.
Significance:	Local. Best outcrop of Buchan Caves Limestone in South Buchan Basin.
Management:	Actions which may obscure or remove the limestone outcrop should be avoided.
