Location:770460. Road cutting along the Yarram-Traralgon Road, north of Bodman Creek.

Ownership:

Crown Land.

Geology/Geomorphology:

Restricted exposure of hard, dense augitic basalt of the Carrajung Volcanics displaying spheroidal weathering (10 – 40 cm in diameter), overlain by Haunted Hill Gravels.

Significance:

Regional. Exposure of contact between the Carrajung Volcanics and the Haunted Hill Gravels.

Management:

Maintenance of a clear exposure of the contact in the road cutting will improve and maintain the significance of this site.
