Ownership:

Crown Land.

Geology/Geomorphology:

Road cuttings at this locality display informative sections in Norton Gully Sandstone. Massive sandstones and interbedded shales are faulted and folded and these structure are clearly displayed in this section.

Significance:

Regional. Although the Norton Gully Sandstone is well exposed in the study area, sections which clearly display folding and faulting in this Formation are uncommon.

Management:

Maintenance of clear faces on the road cutting would maintain the significance of the site.
