Access:

Phillip Road.

Ownership:

Crown land (Reserved forest).

Geomorphology:

A set of three cascades occurs on Young Creek where the stream crosses thick beds of sandstone that strike at almost right angles to the channel direction. The beds dip downstream and the deflection of flow along the strike of the beds causes the three separate cascades - each occurring where the surface intersects a thick resistant sandstone outcrop.

Significance:

Regional. Waterfalls are characteristic of the steep southern slopes of the Otway Ranges.
