Ownership:

Crown Land.

Geology:

Mt McKenzie is a prominent hill of the piedmont downs landscape north of Chapple Vale. Its preservation is due to the predominance of coarse ferruginous sandstone beds.

Significance:

Regional. The site is an unusual higher point in the piedmont downs area.
