25.3 Barham River - Isolated Hill

Location:25-302051. Two kilometres south-west of Apollo Bay.

Barham Valley Road.

Ownership:

Private land.

Geomorphology:
A narrow elongated hill on the west of Barham floodplain is a small inlier of Mesozoic surrounded by alluvium. The hill is a former spur now isolated by river erosion and infilling.

Significance:

Local. The hill indicates in part, the amount of previous documenting by the river and subsequent alluviation.
