Management considerations
Strong texture contrast profile, highly sodic subsoil Subsurface horizon is leached (bleached) with restrictive interface with subsoil (Note less clay than above and below). Fewer nutrients available Slightly acidic surface and subsurface soil, neutral to alkaline upper subsoil and alkaline deeper subsoil Clay percentage decreasing at depth. Note high silt content and higher proportion of magnesium to calcium Deep subsoil is very highly dispersive. Limited (preferably no) exposure required to remain stable. Slightly saline with depth. Surface soil is slightly to moderately dispersive Landscape position (ie. terrace). Variable site drainage
