Yellowish brown (10YR5/6); sandy clay loam; weak coarse prismatic structure; rough ped- fabric; very strong dry consistence; gradual boundary to:

B22

20–70+

Dark brown (10YR4/34) with many fine distinct (10YR4/4) mottles; sandy clay loam; very strong dry consistence;pH 8.9.
Management considerations
  • Strong texture contrast profile, strongly sodic subsoil
  • Occasional subsurface horizon, leached (bleached) with restrictive interface with subsoil
  • Neural surface soil and alkaline deeper subsoil
  • Deeper subsurface and subsoil are very highly dispersive. Limited (preferably no) exposure necessary to remain stable
  • Surface soil is only slightly dispersive
  • Landscape position as footslope; exposure will accelerate rill/gully erosion in susceptible areas( depressions/drainage lines)
