Management considerations
  • Texture contrast soil, sandy profile, becoming slightly alkaline with depth
  • Poor structure, but deep subsurface soil, little restriction to root growth
  • Little nutrient availability, particularly in subsurface soil
  • Structured subsoil, but little nutrient and slightly dispersive, though not sodic according to the laboratory values
  • Landform element, very gentle slope; imperfect to moderately well drained site drainage
