Creek Frontage

This is a miscellaneous unit comprising some small areas of Recent alluvium found flanking Black Dog Creek. It includes various soil types but mainly sandy soils. For the greater part, these consist of grey-brown loamy sand, grading at about 40 cm into a dull yellowish brown loamy sand that extends down to at least 1.2 metres.

These soils occur on an undulating surface some metres below the general level of the plain, and they form a discontinuous minor terrace.
