Management Considerations
Strong texture contrast profile, sodic subsoil, probably strongly sodic at depth. Occasional subsurface horizon, leached (bleached) with restrictive interface with subsoil. Neutral surface soil and upper subsoil, alkaline subsurface soil. Subsoil is sodic and very highly dispersive. Limited (preferably no) exposure necessary to remain stable. Landscape position as footslope; exposure will accelerate rill/gully erosion in susceptible areas( depressions /drainage lines).
