Clydebank and Thomson (Cb:Th)

This map unit comprises both Clydebank and Thomson mapping units with the areas of both ranging between 30% and 70%. It occurs north of Boisdale, adjoining the Avon River. The more recent sediments on which the Thomson soils have formed occur on the slightly lower parts of the landscape.

Quaternary (Late Pleistocene) alluvium and more recent alluvium.
