Abstract:

Exposure of Late Silurian granitic rocks.

Mt Stewart Track, off Glenmore Road.

Ownership:

Crown land.

GeologyGeomorphology:

Tors and vegetation-free northern slopes provide good exposures of Late Silurian medium grained granitic rocks.

Significance:

Local.

Management:

Extensive removal of tors and/or quarrying of the slopes would reduce the value of the site.
