Location:

180012. 4 kilometres south-east of Mt Hamilton.

Abstract:

Contact metamorphic ridge.

Access:

Milky Creek Track.

Ownership:

Crown land.

Geology/Geomorphology:

Metamorphism at the contact between Lower Silurian granodiorite and Ordovician sediments has produced rocks resistant to erosion and resulted in the formation of the contact ridge, World End Spur. The granodiorite and Ordovician sediments are well exposed at the eastern end of the spur.

Significance:

Local.

Management:

Land use should be compatible with preserving at least part of the geology and configuration of the ridge.
