Location:635378. Five kilometres north-west of Licola.

Abstract:

Exposures of Cambrian Greenstone Complex.

Access:

Licola-Jamieson Road.

Ownership:

Crown land.

Geology:

A small inlier of Cambrian Greenstones is exposed in road cuttings on the Licola-Jamieson Road. The Cambrian is bounded by high angle faults and consists of massive greenstones with sheared tuffs and ash.

Significance:

Local. Easily accessible exposure of Cambrian Greenstones.

Management:

Maintenance of clear faces on the road cuttings would enhance the significance of this site.
