Abstract:

Folds in Snowy Plains Formation.

Access:

Glenmaggie-Licola Road.

Ownership:

Private land.

Geology:

Folding of sandstones of the Snowy Plains Formation, associated with the Licola syncline, is well displayed on a hillside to the east of Licola. The folds are best viewed from the Jamieson Road.

Significance:

Local. This area provides a representative section displaying the folding associated with the Licola syncline.

Management:

Access to the site should be maintained and formalized with the landholders.
