12/15-25Dark greyish brown (10YR4/2), sporadically bleached; fine sandy clay loam (gritty); changing to:
Subsoil

B125-30 cmLight grey (10YR7/1) with strong brown (7.5YR4/6) mottles; fine sandy clay loam (gritty); contains very many (80%) ferro-manganiferous (2-5 mm in size) nodules.

NOTE: The B1 horizon is discontinuous – probably associated with gilgai depressions.

B2130-50 cmVery dark greyish brown (10YR3/2) with few (5-10%) diffuse light olive brown (2.5Y5/6) mottles; also with strong brown (7.5YR4/6) mottles associated with overlying B1 horizon where present; medium heavy clay; moderate coarse to very coarse prismatic structure, parting to moderate very coarse blocky structure; strong consistence dry; contains many (20%) ferromanganiferous nodules; pH 6.8; changing to:

B/C50+ cmBasalt stones and boulders (80%); pH 8.3.
