6.2.3 Karst plains, rises or low hills with depressions of the Sedimentary Western Plains

Along the coast near Port Campbell, the limestone plain has developed many karstic features, particularly sinkholes. Spectacular cliffs formed by the rising sea levels over the past 15 000 years mark the edge of the plain at the Southern Ocean.

Associated soil types include deep sands over clay (sand depth may be variable).
